FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production, conversion and distribution of electric energy and may be used for direct heat energy transfer into electric energy. The thermoelectrone engine consists of lying in the same plane cathode and anode, heater and magnet system arranged so that induction density vector is directed parallel to cathode and anode plane and perpendicular to the direction from cathode to anode. Cathode and anode are in heat contact with a heater. Intermediate electrodes may be installed between cathode and anode. Gaps between neighboring electrodes are sized to micrometre units. Application of variable magnetic system enables generating electric energy of alternating current within the wide range of frequencies.
EFFECT: conversion of heat energy to electric energy at high efficiency factor and wide range of output voltages and currents.
