SUBSTANCE: converter has toothed electrodes and screening plates installed opposite projections of one electrode and opposite valleys of other electrode; electrodes and plates are arranged so that vector of magnetic field intensity is perpendicular to surfaces of electrodes and plates; anode has higher temperature than cathode. Heat released across anode is conveyed to cathode of next cell. EFFECT: improved efficiency and provision for reuse of heat released across anode. 10 dwg
