FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of piercing clamp 1 and groove clamp 2 interconnected by a section 3 of self-supported insulated wire. Clamp 1 represents a standard piercing clamp. Clamp 2 consists of dies 16 and 17, which at clamping form two groves 22 for fixing the customer's branch wire 23 (wires) and two grooves 24 of larger diameter; one groove is intended for fixing a connecting section 3 of the self-supported insulated wire, which end is fixed in a groove 15 of less diameter with piercing plates 6, 7 in channels 8, 9 of bodies 4, 5 of the clamp 1. Inner surfaces of channels 25, 26 in dies 16, 17 of the clamp 2 are made with shaped ledges 27 ensuring the required electric contact and rated value of strength for termination of the main wire and customer's wire 23. Clamp 2 is equipped with protective cover.
EFFECT: wire branching device in span of overhead transmission line is a universal device in terms of its functioning as due to additional groove clamp connected to piercing clamp in case of the customer switching off its allows performance without dismantling and thus without disturbing its piercing part, that is to say to save operational costs essentially.
