FIELD: mechanics; power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electrical power engineering, namely to tension clamps by means of which wires are attached to angle-tension towers of overhead transmission lines. Clamp consists of housing 2 with chute 3, hold-down strap 4, tightening bolts 5, 6 with nuts 29, and lug 7 with pin 8. Housing 2 and strap 4 have eyes 9, 10, 11 and 12 which are offset relative to axis 13 of straight-line section 14 of chute 3 of housing 2 and located relative to each other at the distance H1=(0.25÷0.7)·H, where H - length of straight-line section 14 of chute 3 of housing 2, which is calculated depending on maximum wire diametre dwire.max as per the following ratio: H=(4.7÷8.0)-dwire.max. Curvature radius R of chute 3 of housing 2 is equal to curvature radius R1 of chute 15 of strap 4. Holes 16, 17 of eyes 11, 12 of strap 4 are provided with cavities for heads 20, 21 of bolts 5, 6, and hole 16 has through slot 22. Holes 23, 24 of eyes 9, 10 of housing 2 of oval shape and their centres 25, 26 of radii are located from each other at distance a equal to (0.25÷0.3)dbolt, where dbolt - tightening bolt diametre. Hole 23 of eye 9 is provided with wall 28 inclined relative to vertical 27.
EFFECT: reducing metal consumption and labour input during manufacturing, and simplifying the design.
