FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to thoracal surgery and can be used at surgical treatment of unilateral and bilaterial fenestrated fractures of ribs. The essence of the way consists in a skeletal extension. Thus in horizontal position of all body of the patient not less than 3 ligatures are made cross-section to the body and the breast bone handle in an intraperiosteal manner. Then each extremity of these ligatures is pulled through the same punctures to the middle of a breast bone with puncture to the outside. After that they are fastened together on gauze pelotas on distance of 8-10 cm and a skeletal extension with effort of 1.2-1.5 kg is mounted to the knot through the blocks.
EFFECT: use of the given invention allows achieving decrease of traumatism, excludes extensive operative access that reduces danger of development of paradoxical breath, excludes circulation disturbance.
