METHOD OF DETERMINING AND ESTIMATING OF TOTAL FORCE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B5/22 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to physiology and sport medicine. Sum of absolute force of flexors of forearm, flexors of upper limbs and shoulder-girdle, extensors of body, hips, shins, buttock muscles is determined, for which purpose contraction of hand dynamometer is performed. On block, by seizing from above, movement downward from vertical position of arms to the eye level with maximal for said person weight is performed, strength of back muscles is measured, lifting of weight with legs until complete leg and body straightening is performed, by sum of 4 measurements average value of four measurements and mean-square divergence are calculated, further table for estimation of total force by 5 point scale is built. Method is simple, available, allows to estimate total muscle force of person under test.

EFFECT: elaboration of simple and available method, which allows to estimate total muscle force of person under test.
