FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: after preheating a welded wire, included in the welding circuit of an installation using electric current, the wire is welded using electrocontact welding, obtaining a coating on the surface of a component. Before welding, the heated wire is passed through a storage bin with metal powder to provide for its agglomeration with the wire. Preheating temperature of the wire should be sufficient for its agglomeration with the metal powder.
EFFECT: more resources for obtaining coating through electrocontact welding.
