FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for reconditioning and hardening of worn-out working surfaces of parts 1. Proportioning bin 4 with ferromagnetic powder 5 is arranged to feed said powder on working surface of roller electrode 2 connected to welding transformer 3. Several coils of insulated copper wire 6 connected via sliding contacts 7 to current source 8 are arranged on both faces of roller electrode 2. Magnetic attraction force developed herein is sufficient to keep ferromagnetic powder on roller electrode surface.
EFFECT: reduced losses of ferromagnetic powder.
