FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: aluminium oxide coating for products with surface of aluminium alloys contains admixtures of high-silica phase, which have maximum linear size 0.1…10 of coating thickness; moreover admixtures at coating surface and/or having interface surface with aluminium base so that total bond area is not less than 80% of admixture area. Production method includes micro-arch oxide formation; to increase wear resistance particles of silica are introduced into surface layer of aluminium before micro-arc oxidisation.

EFFECT: resistance to wear.
