FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determining electroconductivity of wet soil, ceramic mixtures, cement, concentrated suspensions and other wet dispersed materials. The cell for measuring electroconductivity of wet dispersed materials contains a measuring vessel made from dielectric material with a rectangular cross section, fitted with two electrode plates, connected to the electrical circuit of an electrical measuring instrument. The measuring vessel is in form of a hollow tetrahedral prism, two opposite faces of which are fitted with electrodes from the inside, with a shape similar to the shape of the said faces. Measurements are taken when the test material moves through the inter-electrode space of the measuring cell.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing accuracy and making easier measurement of electroconductivity of wet dispersed materials.
