FIELD: medicine; traumatology and orthopaedics.
SUBSTANCE: nail comprises a cylindrical segment of greater diametre to adjust distally fractured fragments, a cylindrical segment of smaller diametre and a truncated reduction segment with its greater and smaller bases being coaxially conjugated to end faces of the segments of greater and smaller diametres respectively. The nail is axially bent at the angle 160° in the bending line aligned with the conjugation line of smaller base of the truncated cone with an end face of the segment of smaller diametre. From end face of greater diametre, there is a threaded coaxial plug hole. The segment of greater diametre has two through block screw holes; the axes of these holes are parallel, while laying in a plane perpendicular to that of the nail bending at a distance of the hole axes equal to indent of the hole axis close to an end face from the nail end face. The length of the segment of diametre is 5-7 times less than that of the segment of smaller diametre, and diametres of these segments are related as (3.5):(6) respectively. The segment of smaller diametre is provided by a spatulate cap with V-shaped head, formed by two symmetric flat cuts of the segment of smaller diametre along its axis, and laying in a plane perpendicular to that of the nail bending. The length of the cap is equal to the total length of the segment of greater diametre and the reduction segment, while the length of the reduction segment is 6.5 times less than that of the segment of greater diametre.
EFFECT: possibility to heal distal and diaphysis fractures of radial bone herewith ensuring axial and rotational stability for all therapeutic period, reduction in trauma of soft and bone tissues, elimination of large vessels and nerves of radial bone with therapeutic enhancement, simplified manufacturing of the nail and cost reduction.
