FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment for performance of uranium hexafluoride desublimation-sublimation processes to clean it from light admixtures and may be used in separating production runs of nuclear industry. Device comprises annular desublimation chamber created by external surface of cylindrical desublimator installed in body with fixed horizontal annular partitions. In internal cavity of desublimator there is an annular evaporator, in external wall of which there is an evaporating spiral-like cavity, which makes a closed refrigerating system together with pipelines of refrigerant supply and drain and compressor-condenser unit. Cylindrical heater is installed in internal cavity of evaporator. Desublimation chamber consists of two sections - upper one and lower one. Partitions in upper section are arranged with smaller pitch compared to lower section.
EFFECT: increased extent of uranium hexafluoride treatment from light admixtures, reduced operational expenses.
