FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desublimation-sublimation of uranium hexafluoride. Desublimator comprises housing 1 accommodating circular desublimation chamber with baffles 17, 18, 19, process gas feed-discharge pipes 6, coolant feed-discharge pipes 14, 15, heater 12 and cylindrical desublimator 7 with baffles 18 secured to its outer surface. Desublimator houses heat exchanger 10 including casing and circular evaporator 11 with helical evaporation chamber 13 arranged at its outer surface to make a closed refrigeration system with branch pipes 14, 15 and compressor-condenser unit 16. Cylindrical heater 12 is arranged inside evaporator 11. Circular desublimation chamber 20 is composed by desublimator outer surface with baffles and protective shield. Said chamber comprises two sections, main section 20 and additional catching section 21. Bottom part of protective shield 8 has hole to feed process gas. Main section baffles are composed of multistart screw based on circular screw conoid. Bottom section of housing 1 accommodates circular distribution chamber 22 with walls composed by housing bottom and protective shield 8. Housing bottom part has diameter larger than that of top part. Desublimator is mounted on weighing transducers 25. Desublimator flushing pipe 24 is arranged at housing bottom.
