FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of environmental protection. Exhaust system for diesel internal combustion engine contains catalyst for nitrogen dioxide decomposition into nitrogen mono-oxide in presence of reducer and device for regulation of ratio Cl hydrocarbon:nitrogen oxides (CI HC:NOx) in exhaust gas above catalyst in the range of 0.01-2.0. Catalyst consists of fine-grained acid refractory oxide selected from group comprising zeolytes, titanium dioxide doped with tungsten, mixture of silicon and titanium oxides, mixture of zirconium and titanium oxides, aluminium gamma-oxide, amorphous aluminium silicates and mixtures of any two or several mentioned substances, on which rhodium, palladium or their mixture may be applied. Regulation device is controlled so that to be put in action at temperature of 250-500 °C, and comprises device for diesel fuel injection into exhaust gas. Catalyst of NO2 decomposition is located downward from oxidation catalyst, which contains at least one metal of platinum group, preferably selected out of platinum or palladium. Between oxidation catalyst and decomposition catalyst there is filter installed for capture of hard admixtures.
EFFECT: reduced emission of hard admixtures and NO2.
