FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is internal combustion engines exhaust gases exhaust system and coated with catalyst substrate for use in exhaust gases exhaust system. Exhaust gases exhaust system comprises depleted NOx trap and coated with catalyst substrate. Coated with catalyst substrate has first zone and second zone. First zone comprises metal of platinum group, loaded onto carrier, and second zone contains copper or iron, loaded on zeolite. First zone or second zone additionally contains elementary metal oxide or elementary metal, loaded on inorganic oxide. Provided are also methods of internal combustion engine exhaust gas processing using exhaust gases exhaust system. Exhaust gases exhaust system has possibility to accumulate NH3, produced during rich mixture cleaning, response NH3 with slip of NOx from NOx trap, control of H2S, released during NOx trap desulphuring, and oxidation of passing hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. When coated with catalyst substrate is filtering substrate, it also has possibility to remove soot from exhaust gases exhaust system.

EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency of exhaust gases cleaning.
