FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of public transport and improvement of passive safety means for passengers of transport vehicles, in which horizontal stationary cylindrical handrails are provided, being usually installed in upper part of passenger cabin. Handrail is a hollow yoke arranged in the form of trihedral prism with rounded sides, in middle part of which round opening is arranged for fixation on horizontal stationary cylindrical handrail with holder for hand in the form of rectangular through opening with rounded angles and four indents for hand fingers on lower horizontal side. Handrail consists of two joined hollow folds that are convex on external side and are fixed to each other by means of two inserts of "П"-shaped section with narrow slot for installation of information cards, which are located on indentation plane from external side of every fold. From outside folds have gripping part in the form of semi-cylinders that in assembly create round opening for handrail fixation.
EFFECT: simpler manufacture of hand rail, more convenient installation and operation.
