FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition. Proposed shell comprises inseparable front part with its rear furnished with supercaliber bulge and blunt hole to house the piercing core. Shell incorporates mushroom-like sabot with its head diametre not exceeding shell caliber and foot diametre making, at least, the core diametre. Note here that aforesaid sabot has its foot is fitted into the front part hole to thrust against the core bottom. Note also that the said front part is made of fluoroplastic.
EFFECT: larger diametre and depth of rupture openings.
