FIELD: communication facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the area of electric engineering; it can be used in makeups of optical cables while laying optical fibre communication lines. Known makeup of optical cable contains optical fibres in polymer ribbons, hydrophobic filler, module, main reinforcing element in this module, the first auxiliary load-bearing element in outer polymer sheath, waterproof ribbon and two cords tearing outer sheath, which are located close to module peaks and marked at surface of outer sheath as protrusions. Module is made of "Э"-shape for the purpose of easy opening of optical core, removal of optical fibres, significant risk reduction of moisture penetration to optical fibres, reduction of recovery time in case of optical cable damage and moisture penetration during optical cable repair. Middle peak divides module into two chambers and two edge peaks are connected with middle one; waterproof ribbon is located inside inner surface of outer sheath with edge overlapping over the second load-bearing element, which is located over middle peak of "Э"-shaped module and connection of two edge peaks at middle peak.

EFFECT: easy opening of optical core, removal of optical fibres, significant risk reduction of moisture penetration to optical fibres, reduction of recovery time in case of optical cable damage and protection from moisture penetration during optical cable repair.
