FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: communication cable contains optical fibres, two C-shaped modules with main reinforcing elements, two water-blocking bands, additional strength elements on the external polymer shell, two pairs of cords disrupting the external shell, an intermediate polymer perforated shell with to disrupting cords. Placed in the centre of the circle circumscribed by the internal surfaces of the C-shaped modules are a polymer cross-shaped divisor element and optic fibres. The beams of the divisor element come in touch with the external circle of the C-shaped modules thus forming a four-chamber structure with optical fibres in each chamber. Designation of the disrupting cords in the external shell is implemented by way of a projection on the external shell external surface (one projection per cord).
EFFECT: decreased time of the optic cable recovery after damage and ensuring optical fibres protection against moisture penetration.
