FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: optical cable contains optical fibre in hydrophobic filler in C-shaped module in which one top is covered by the other one with edges overlapping, main reinforcing element in this module, added load-bearing element, water-tight band along the whole length of inner dimension of C-shaped module with element edges overlapping; the main reinforcing element is made as a band with width in inner dimension of C-shaped module reaching symmetrically half of the cable diameter; added load-bearing element is located in introduced intermediate polymer enclosure and is made also as a band overlapping the other half of the cable cross-section, at that tearing cords symmetric towards each other are located at the boundary between the main reinforcing element and added reinforcing element and two cords tearing the inner polymer enclosure divide it in halves; at that two protrusions at outer surface of the inner polymer enclosure mark position of cords tearing the inner polymer enclosure; in the same way in a direct line with cords tearing the inner polymer enclosure there are two symmetrical cords tearing the outer surface which have two protrusions at the inner surface of the outer polymer enclosure.
EFFECT: invention provides protection against moisture and maintains rigidity.
