FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology for cleaning of spent gases of internal combustion engines. Catalytic neutraliser is represented by honeycomb element with inlet and outlet end and multiple flowing channels, on which catalytic coating is applied. Catalytic coating includes at least one catalytically active element from metals of platinum group, profile of concentration of which is continuously varied along axis of honeycomb element. Honeycomb element is separated into three adjacent sections. Concentration of active element has low value at the first section, then it rapidly increases to peak value at the second section and reduces in the third section. To produce neutraliser, material with high specific area of surface is applied on honeycomb element. Then separate sections are soaked with wetting substance, impregnated with compound of precious metal, dried and calcified.
EFFECT: production of neutraliser, which has increased resistance to poisoning and thermal decomposition.
