FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of construction materials. In method for production of construction material, which includes processing of the following components in mixer: silica-containing component - Tripoli powder, diatomite or silica clay, alkaline component - sodium or potassium hydroxide and water at the ratio of alkaline component content to content of silica-containing component from 0.08 to 0.40 and ratio of total content of silica-containing and alkaline components to water content up to 5.3 to produce homogenous silicate mass, its filling into moulds, heating with dehydration and swelling of silicate mass with further cooling down to environmental temperature and withdrawal of finished construction material out of mould, the following components are introduced in mixer additionally in amount of wt % of silica-containing component: 0.05-0.1 of sodium or potassium sulfate and 0.4-0.75 alkyl-sulfate foaming agent, heating is carried out in compliance with the following mode: at 60-90° C for 2-4 hours with dehydration of up to 8-10%, temperature increase up to 600°C with the rate of not more than 300°C per hour, then - up to 750°C with the rate of not more than 50°C per hour, baking for 1 hour at 750-780°C with swelling to increase material volume 5-6 times, and cooling is natural down to 650°C with delay at 650°C for 0.5-1 hour, then - to ambient air temperature.
EFFECT: higher strength, lower water absorption and heat conductivity.
