FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of construction and may be used to increase bearing capacity of foundations on weak water-saturated bases. Method for improvement of bearing capacity of foundation on weak water-saturated bases includes installation of round sand pile in foundation ground. Inventory pipe is inserted into weak water-saturated soil by means of driving or vibrating. Then weak water-saturated soil is extracted from internal cavity of pipe. Afterwards in pipe internal surface reinforcing geosynthetic water-permeable material is installed with overlapping side edges. Then sand is installed in pipe in portions with compaction, and pipe is gradually withdrawn. Lower edge of geosynthetic water-permeable material is jammed in thickness of foundation soils, and upper edge is bent to sand surface, and jamming is provided by foundation structure.
EFFECT: higher bearing capacity, lower material intensity and cost of foundations on weak soils, lower setting of foundations.
