FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to foundation engineering, and can be used in erection of low-rise buildings and structures on water-saturated clay soils. Reinforced sand pile for foundations on water-saturated clay bases includes a sand pile placed in a clay base and formed by means of an inventory pipe cylindrical, this pile is reinforced along its outer contour with a tubular elastic cylinder working in tension and constricting transverse deformations of sand located inside the tubular elastic cylinder. Tubular elastic cylinder is made of recycled metal cord tires of the same standard size, which are attached to each other along adjacent side flanges of recycled tires to perform the function of internal elastic stiffness rings. Tubular elastic cylinder is located along the entire height of the pile with the same pitch of internal elastic stiffness rings.
EFFECT: simpler and cheaper design of a reinforced sand pile for foundations on water-saturated clay bases.
