SUBSTANCE: method for ultrasound application for part research in immersion liquid with the help of focused beam of ultrasonic waves oriented perpendicular to part surface. Method consists in the fact that when axis of focused beam is close to part edge, this axis is inclined to the side of mentioned edge relative to normal to part surface to exclude lateral zone of shadow in all or practically all part in depth.
