FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely otorhinolaryngology. Mucous membrane is dissected at the distance 1-2 mm from edge of anterior palatine arch with a distal part of a light guide end of a semiconductor laser MILON-LAHTA by continuous contact method at output lasing power 8.5 W. The palatine tonsil remains are jointed with forceps and gradually lased along with tonsillar niche through the performed incision with lasing transferred through the distal light guide end face by continuous contact method at output lasing power 9.0 W.
EFFECT: method provides eradication of palatine tonsil.
