FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely otorhinolaryngology. Said technique involves lasing of tonsillar bed following instrumental bilateral tonsillectomy by the instrument method with contact laser applications. It implies local infiltration anaesthesia with 1% Novocaine or Lidocaine. Mucous membrane is cut with a scalpel on the periphery of anterior pillar from upper pole to tongue edge. Then palatine tonsil is pulled off forward with dissecting mucosa from upper pole to posterior pillar. The tonsil is taken with forceps andseparated with a raspatory from anterior and posterior pillars and palatine tonsil bed whereon a loop is applied with cutting at lower pole. Bleeding areas of palatine tonsil bed are lased within 5 to 15 applications with the distal end face of a light guide of a semiconductor laser by continuous contact method at radiation power 8 Wt.
EFFECT: application of said invention allows for tonsillectomy, and thereafter for elimination of local bleeding by contact laser exposure with selecting herewith bleeding areas only.
