FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to life-saving equipment and aims at emergency recovery, e.g. in fire and locked flights of steps by smooth descent outside of a burning building. In a body comprising two chambers, there is a shaft with a rigid flag in one chamber. The other chamber contains a coiled tape that is attached to the shaft with its one end and bears external clamps on the other end. The first chamber accommodating the flag contains bulk material that is dispersion working medium. The second chamber is covered with an axial-advance head. The second chamber is provided with ledges forming pockets on inner surface of the chamber. To fix the head, screws are used, also serve as complementary ledges in the chamber.
EFFECT: invention aims at higher braking reliability, descent-travelling comfort and design simplification.
