Filter for catching of particles comprises jacket and at least one filtering element with at least one layer of metal fibres arranged so that it creates multiple distanced passages for flow passage through filtering element, each of which has and obstacle for flow at least in one area. At least one layer of metal fibres has heat capacity referred to unit of area and making from 400 to 1200 J/(K-m2).
EFFECT: makes it possible to increase filter ability for accumulation of particles and regeneration.
