FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to seats of bearings for rotary shafts of engines, specifically to gas-turbine. Bearing (14) seat (11, 12) for rotary engine such as gas-turbine engine with rotary shaft (15) supported by at least one bearing (14) and frame (10), capable to work at not less than two various operating speeds and containing at least one low-rigid mechanical supporting structure (12) and one highly rigid supporting structure (11) joined so that they could serve as support for bearing (14) with one of these rigidities. Low-rigid supporting structure (12) is attached to highly rigid supporting structure (11) when engine is working at the speed (f) which is lower than certain rotation frequency (fp), and is detached from highly rigid supporting structure (11) when the engine is working at the speed (f) which is higher than certain rotation frequency (fp).
EFFECT: providing operation without presence of any hydraulic equipment as far as rigidity forces being imparted in such a way are able to counteract directly the excitation forces being generated by unbalanced engine shaft mass.
