SUBSTANCE: according to the method the measurement period corresponding to shaft rotation mode interval during revived work in engine low speed mode is determined (S1); vibration acceleration signal of engine components is obtained (S2) during the whole measurement period; vibration signal is digitised (S3) depending on shaft rotation mode during measurement period; digitised vibration signal is converted (S4) to frequency signal for obtaining frequency spectrum lines arranged depending on shaft rotation mode; mean value of amplitude of spectrum lines is calculated (S5); amplitude peaks in the area of multiple numbers of theoretical frequency of damaged roller is determined (S6); ratio of each amplitude peak to amplitude level determined for good bearing is calculated (S7); and obtained ratio is compared (S8) at least to one specified threshold damage value.
EFFECT: improving method's reliability.
