FIELD: physics, measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metering equipment. In method, prior to beginning of measurements, constant value is established for emission of gas flame at frequency of 935 nm, setting it as part of maximum value defined during measurement of combustible gas flow in maximum possible limits. Further on, value of gas flame emission is measured with absence of analysed solution supply into flame of gas burner and is maintained at constant level by control of combustible gas consumption. At those moments of time, when analysed solution is supplied into gas burner flame, value of gas flame emission deviation is measured at frequency of 935 nm from established value, and value of deviation is used to estimate stability of measurement performance conditions.

EFFECT: reduced error of measurements and reduced time required for measurements.
