FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in production of high-primary-current toroidal transformers. Proposed toroidal transformer comprises circular core, primary and secondary windings. Additionally, proposed transformer comprises three copper buses representing an open ring. First and second busses are located on one surface of the said open ring, the third one being furnished with inside opening and arranged on its other side. Primary winding represents sections. The start of every section is connected to the first bus, the section end being connected to the second bus. Section turns are laid on three buses over insulation layer.
EFFECT: improved cooling, simpler design, expanded performances.
