FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of process fluids at metallurgical and machining plants, particularly, to cleaning fluids of magnetic particles. It comprises tank with branch pipe, vertical baffle between working and nonworking zones, horizontal magnetic circuits composed of tubes from nonmagnetic material, and rhombic cross-section rods arranged there along. Continuous circuit of magnetic and nonmagnetic elements is arranged inside said tubes. Extreme nonmagnetic elements may reciprocate driven by hydraulic cylinder rod. Horizontal weir with slot holes above axes of magnetic circuits is located at tank top section. All magnetic circuit and rhombic rods are arranged with clearances to allow forming thin layer of fluid around said tubes. Outlet at tank bottom incorporates means to distribute fluids in various trays.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, decreased overall dimensions, lower metal input, high quality of purification.
