FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety arrangements and precautions in coal mining industry, precisely to estimation method of endogenous fire hazard of working sheths during mining coal seam liable to spontaneous ignition. Method includes measurements from neighboring mines of electromagnetic radiation with emitting anomalous zones. Further examination by using geophysical methods of electrical exploration with determining current and background potentials differences. Furthermore, using geophysical methods of electrical exploration natural temperature of adjacent strata in anomalous zone is determined. Coil temperature in it determined by function is taken as a performance measure of endogenous fire hazard.

EFFECT: decrease of time and labour consumption when estimating endogenous fire hazard and accuracy increase are ensured.
