FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanics and tribology and can be used for diagnostics of contact load failure of a surface layer. A test piece is loaded through hydrostatic pressurisation in an in-built resilient member. Failure radial motion of the external surface points of the test piece is recorded. The resilient member is a casing; hydrostatic pressurisation is enabled by compressing an auxiliary casing mounted between shackles and hydraulically attached to the resilient member. The resilient member is loaded without the test piece to ensure the failure motion value. The breaking load is evaluated as a difference of load values with and without the test piece on the resilient member as related to specified radial motion. The breaking removal is determined by the relation Uθ=πUr, where Uθ is a permanent strain after rupture; Ur is radial motion of the test piece surface.
EFFECT: invention provides possibility to design implants designing cardiac implants for ventricular aneurysm surgeries.
