FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and can be used in diagnostics and correction of human visual system condition. Before presented visually, a test object is specified for chromaticity coordinates and background for each colour. After 5-10 minutes of adaptation to shape and colour of the test object, its brightness is changed by varying amplitude of sinusoidal brightness distribution until the patient sees or does not see the test object. Contrast sensation is measured consistently for each colour at low, medium and high spatial frequencies. The measured visual data integrity curve is plotted for each colour. Then deviation of the measured contrast sensation in the patient from that of people with 100% sight without detected mental and physiological disorders. According to certain deviation, spectral radiation composition is adjusted by varying chromaticity coordinates of a controlled light source to generate a light medium.

EFFECT: enables correction of psychophysiological functions.
