FIELD: image forming device.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to demonstration and processing of images for tonal display and/or display of colours, and can be used for creation of high-quality images at target displays at maintaining creative concept. Device for controlling display of images, which includes: input for access to the first information data to control display, the first information data include level of point white point level and level of middle point of luminosity to control display; input for access to the second information data for the target display, the second information data include level of point white point level and level of middle point of luminosity for the target display; a processor for determining conversion function for conversion of pixel values of the input image signal to corresponding pixel values of output image signal using first and second information data, where the function of conversion includes three node points, wherein the first anchor point is determined using the levels of ferrous points of the control and target displays, the second anchor point is determined using the control points and white levels target displays, and the third anchor point is determined using levels middle points of luminosity of the control and target displays; a processor for converting input image signal into output image signal using a certain function.

EFFECT: technical result is providing image viewers with impressions from viewing which operate possibilities of the displays on which they look through the images.
