FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: mix of source gas reactants (such as air) and reaction products is absorbed from closed space where inflammation took place, undergoes contact cooling by fluid cooling agent (such as water), is saturated by cooling agent vapour, mixed with fire-extinguishing spray composition (FESC) cooled by contact method, and supplied to reaction zone (fire seat). Contact cooling of mix and FESC is performed in contacting aggregate by dispersion in fluid due to the mix underpressure over the fluid surface to form foam (gas and fluid emulsion). Mix consumption for cooling is varied in proportion to the temperature in closed space, cooler agent consumption is varied in proportion to the temperature of fluid phase at contacting aggregate output, and cooling agent level in contacting aggregate is changed within relevant range in proportion to gas phase consumption. Fluid cooling agent contains substances removing toxic combustion products from the mix, using either dissolution or chemical binding process in fluid phase.
EFFECT: improved fire extinction capacity, reduced localisation and fire extinction time and fire damage, eliminated necessity to store cooling agent in FESC generator.
