SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology and can be used in surgical treatment of macular ruptures. Three operative approaches 3.5 mm from limb are formed. Basal iridectomy and mechanical separation of pigmented epithelium from distant iris are performed. The prepared epithelium is suspended in 0.01 ml of physiologic saline. Subtotal vitrectomy involves removing posterior hyaloid membranes and air tamponade of vitreal cavity. Then macular rupture is applied with fibrin glue "Tissucol". After that retinal rupture edges are mechanically closed to perform subretinal injection of pigmented epithelium suspension through macular rupture. A rupture is sealed with a layer of fibrin glue "Tissucol". The operative procedure is finished while air is replaced with gas, silicone fluid, simultaneously removing excess fibrin glue and pigmented epithelium.

EFFECT: application of the invention provides high anatomic-functional effect ensured by prevented progressive atrophy of pigmented epithelium and effective hermetic sealing of macular rupture.
