Substance of the invention involves detection of SS and FS phenotypes of C'3 locus, and if SS phenotype of C'3 locus found, genetic predisposition to atherosclerotic processes is ascertained, while the presence of FS phenotype of C'3 locus shows genetic predisposition to containment of atherosclerotic processes.
