FIELD: physics, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to communication systems, in particular to distribution of communication resources in them. Method is suggested for adaptation of resource distribution parametres to achieve one or more quality indices with improved accuracy. New measurements of information are presented, based on so called mutual information (MI), preferably at block level. Measurements of information based on MI of the previous transmission, prediction of further transmission channel and one or more quality requirements are used to identify quantity and type of resources, for instance time resources, frequency and power, which must be used for further transmission. Distribution of resources may comprises, for instance distribution of power and/or adaptation of connection. Preferable version of realisation - mutual adaptation of connection and power distribution. Suggested method is useful in combination with automatic or hybrid automatic request of repeated transmission.

EFFECT: improved control of communication resources, improved reliability and efficiency of transfer.
