FIELD: engines and pumps; blasting.
SUBSTANCE: charge igniter of solid propellant gas generator comprises body in the form of bowl-shaped revolution body with flanging, batch of black powder and solid fuel pellets installed in it, and also cover fixed to body along flanging. Thin-walled bushing made of easily ignitable material, for instance, paper, is coaxially installed in body. Pellets of solid fuel are placed around bushing in compact stacking, besides, height of pellets makes at least 1/2 of body depth. Height of bushing is not less than height of pellets. All free internal space of body is filled with black powder.
EFFECT: higher reliability of igniter operation with combined composition when actuated from low-capacity exploder.
