FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: hollow fibre membrane module contains selectively permeable polysulphone hollow fibre membranes, which contain a polysulphone based resin and a hydrophilic polymer as basic components. Content of hydrophilic polymer in the uppermost layer of the inner surface of the said hollow fibre membrane is at least 1.1 times more than in the neighbouring layer of the inner surface of the membrane. Content of hydrophilic polymer in the upper most layer of the outer surface of the membrane is at least 1.1 times more than in the upper most layer of the inner surface of the membrane. The said hollow fibre membrane module is exposed to radio active radiation under the condition that, concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere around the said hollow fibre membranes ranges from 0.001 to 0.1% and the ratio of moisture content in the membranes to mass ranges from 0.2 to 7 wt %.
EFFECT: reliable, safe and functionally stable hollow fibre membrane modules.
