FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to binary internal combustion engines wherein the cylinder operating chamber is divided by separate piston, not coupled with engine shaft, into two isolated chambers, that is, pressure chamber and combustion chamber. Concept of the invention consists in that exhaust gases are fed from combustion chamber into accumulating tank, or feed of exhaust gases from combustion chamber in accumulating tank is combined with gas feed from pressure chamber into combustion chamber accumulating tank. Note that return feed from accumulating tanks into chambers are performed without mixing of the said gases. Also in idling, pressure chamber accumulating tank is topped up, while gases in accumulating tanks are cooled or heated. To increase duration of thermal effect, gases are directed from accumulating tanks of one cylinder into appropriated chambers of the other cylinder.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency.
