FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: on starting crankshaft, gas is forced from combustion chamber by, for example, opening exhaust valve in compression stroke with subsequent rarefaction in pressure chamber by, for example closing exhaust valve in expansion stroke. Aforesaid operation is repeated unless pressure difference between chamber is reached that allows air feed from pressure chamber into combustion chamber. On starting cold engine, gases are, first, forced from cylinder chambers into accumulating spaces by, for example opening, in compression strokes, the valve communicating said spaces with the cylinder and opening said valves in expansion strokes with closed exhaust valve.
EFFECT: starting binary ICE and engine acceleration, improved operating performances.
