FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to multi-layer shell structures of body parts used in aviation, rocket and space engineering, and operating under conditions of complicated stressed-deformed condition. Protective body comprises external thin-walled metal shell, medium elastically deformed and internal layers. Internal layer consists of fragments, at least two, which are fixed by inserts. Inserts are installed in cavities between fragments and grooves of medium layer, which are the continuation of cavities. Inserts are arranged as double-layer. Layer of medium layer material fills groove, and layer of internal layer material fills cavity between fragments. Internal layer is made of composite polymer material.
EFFECT: invention provides for reduced level of complicated stressed-deformed condition of structure and its improved reliability of operation under conditions of temperature drops in process of operation.
