FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of diagnosing friction assemblies, particularly friction bearings, for predicting their wearing during operation in dusty conditions, and can be widely used in machine-building, metallurgy, construction and other industries. To achieve this outcome, there is further determination of bushing wear in the method, taking into account dynamic loading and percentage composition of abrasive particles in the dust through calculation.
EFFECT: reduced wearing, increased efficiency, strength, reliability of axle-bushing coupling, more accurate prediction of wearing of friction bearings.
