FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a device for detecting varying surface tension of solid bodies. The device contains the body under test, mechanically linked to a piezoelectric element, auxiliary electrodes, connected to sources of linear and periodic voltage, as well as selective amplifiers of an electrical signal, generated by the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric element is bimorph. Each pair of plates of the piezoelectric element of opposite polarity is connected to a separate inductance coil with formation of an oscillatory circuit, and two oscillatory circuits made this way are connected in parallel and have a common bipolar output, which is connected to inputs of two selective amplifiers. Each inductance coil has a slug, with possibility of changing fundamental frequency generated by its oscillatory circuit.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity when detecting varying surface tension of solid bodies.
