FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, namely to spiral antennas operating in the range of ultra-high (UHF) and super-high frequencies (SHF) as part of antenna systems for various purposes, in particular in direction finding and tracking systems. The technical result is achieved by the fact that an ultra-wideband spiral antenna containing a combined two-thread spiral consisting of connected flat and hemispherical spirals, a dielectric housing with a hemispherical spiral placed on it, a matching balancing transformer and metal reflectors of flat and hemispherical spirals, on which rings of radio-absorbing materials are installed, while the outer diameter of the lower ring is equal to the diameters of the dielectric body and the reflector of the hemispherical spiral, in contrast to the prototype, it has spiral grooves on the lateral cylindrical surface of the lower radio-absorbing ring, in which the extension sections of the branches of the hemispherical spiral are laid.
EFFECT: creation of an ultra-wide band small-sized spiral antenna of a simplified design with increased manufacturability.
